Here are some hand-drawn storyboard frames I had made a few years ago, based on my favourite cartoon series “Total Drama”, produced and created by Elliott Animation of Toronto, ON, and my favourite pairing from the series, Mike and Zoey (voiced by Canadian voice actors Cory Doran and Barbara Mamabolo).

This is the first ever big personal drawing project I made, where I was practicing what a storyboard artist would do in that particular business field, taking the equivalent of a few months to complete. The basis of these storyboards is a fan-made piece of literature made by a close online friend of mine, where he created a touching yet suspenseful reading of the couple, based on the events that happened in the original series they were featured in, “Total Drama: Revenge of the Island”.

The last graph at the bottom contains the frames I have drawn and stylized myself to match that of the original show, with still many more to come.

When I first posted these online on DeviantArt (a group website where people can post their artwork, both fan art and/or their own original creations), it became a big hit with nearly all TD fans. In fact, these storyboards also inspired another online friend I made to create a short film using my storyboard frames, as a way of how much the creators at Elliott Animation have inspired a group of young people like ourselves at the time to pursue the knowledge needed to become future animators.
